Victoria Pinns
Dr. Pinns earned her Master’s degree in Physiology from North Carolina State University before graduating from veterinary school at Ross University in 2015. She completed a rotating internship at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, followed by specialty internships in surgery. Discovering a strong passion for critical care, she pursued a residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at The Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego, completing it in December 2023. Her primary professional interests focus on sepsis, mechanical ventilation, and extracorporeal therapies.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Pinns enjoys traveling and embarking on outdoor adventures with her husband, son, and dog. She also cares for a growing collection of household plants that have joined her family on journeys across the country.
